Aquí proudly extends its congratulations to Julián Castro on his new role as the Chief Executive Officer of the Latino Community Foundation. This appointment marks a significant milestone in the work to empower and uplift the Latino community across the United States.

Aquí stands in solidarity with the Latino Community Foundation in its endeavors to amplify Latino voices and ensure their rightful place in positions of influence and power. At $3.4 trillion, Latinos’ spending power bolsters the American economy, yet barely $1.3 billion is invested in our start up businesses, each year. Castro's call for greater investments in Latino communities aligns with Aquí's ongoing accountability campaigns that work toward leveling the playing field between our communities and the industries we empower.
